Gujarat High Court starts its official telegram channel from 1st March 2021.

The Gujarat high court moves towards the modernization process in technology and joins the telegram app.
The Gujarat high court starts its official telegram channel with an aim to ease and for the convenience of advocates, litigants, and other related stakeholders. The court will post on that channel daily notices, notifications, cause lists, press releases, and other important notifications.

The operations for the telegram channel will start from the very first day of March i.e. 1st March 2021. The act on part of the court is based on the vision, guidance, and directions of the Honorable Chief Justice. The high court releases a press release on 26th February to that effect. This telegram channel will increase its area of operation; and provides a platform for advocates to have the; advocate-wise cause list, judgments, orders, and other information in relation to cases.

With this move, the Gujarat high court becomes the first high court to initiate its proceedings via live stream on YouTube this done for the benefit of members of the bar. This initiative aims to bring more transparency to court proceedings. In light of COVID 19, this kind of initiative will work wonders and take the justice system towards modernization.
