Kr. Vivek Tanwar

Mr. Vivek Tanwar is enrolled with the Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana, Chandigarh, since the year 2000, is the Founder and Director of Law Offices of Kr. Vivek Tanwar Advocate and Associates, having offices at Gurugram and Rewari. Mr. Tanwar has an immense record of conducting heinous criminal trials. He had been appointed as SPECIAL PUBLIC PROSECUTOR by the Haryana Govt. Mr. Tanwar is also a Legal Advisor in ‘Internal Complaints Committee’ constituted in compliance with The Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act 2013, by the Department of Police at District Rewari, Haryana.
Apart from being an accomplished criminal lawyer, Mr. Tanwar has forayed in Alternative Dispute Resolution, Mr. Tanwar is a member of prestigious institutions like Nani Palkhivala Arbitration Centre & Indian Commercial and Arbitration Bar Association. He is an empaneled Arbitrator with International and Domestic Arbitration Centre India He has also been an advisor at Ex Curia International.

Besides his excellence in various criminal and arbitration matters, Mr. Tanwar is equally devoted to academics. He was invited as Special Guest in a two-day conference on “RECENT TRENDS IN CORPORATE LAWS-THEIR IMPACT ON SOCIO-ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT IN INDIA” ,2019 held by the Osmania University, Hyderabad. He also judged various legal events at the annual festival SYMBHAV organized by SYMBIOSIS LAW SCHOOL, PUNE, 2019 held in official legal partnership of his law office, He was also invited as a Panelist and Resource person in “INTERNATIONAL SEMINAR ON TRANSNATIONAL DISPUTES”, 2019 held by Nirma University, Ahmedabad. He was also invited as Guest of Honor in the “INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON ARBITRATION AND CONCILIATION CHALLENGES & NEW HORIZONS”, 2019 held by the University of Lucknow, he had also attended one day Seminar on “HUMAN RIGHTS & PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES”, 2020 held by Law Mantra with collaboration of The Indian Law Institute, New Delhi, and NLU, Assam and Maharashtra. He had also sponsored 3RD “DR. R.U. SINGH MEMORIAL NATIONAL MOOT COURT COMPETITION” at Faculty of Law, University of Lucknow, 2020. He was also invited as a judge in ALSA INTERNATIONAL MOOT COURT COMPETITION 2021. Recently he was invited as an adjudicator in 11TH NLU-INADR INTERNATIONAL MEDIATION TOURNAMENT, BHOPAL, 2022, where he had an opportunity of adjudicating the finals as well.
He has also authored a book titled as “AN OVERVIEW ON THE SEXUAL HARASSMENT OF WOMEN AT WORKPLACE (PREVENTION, AND REDRESSAL) ACT, 2013″.
